[ Matt spends most of the week with his head down, working on the scale model of the manor that he and Harry started last month. He slips out like a cat to eat and sleep, but otherwise doesn't have much going on. He's always liked the pure craft of spellwork, honestly: the gathering of just the right ingredients, the attention to small details. It's intricate enough to occupy his mind, but much less fraught than social interaction.
Still, towards the end of the week, a combination of restlessness and loneliness gets him texting again. ]
